Family Fun Celebration
Join
us Saturday, May 12th for Laura Ingalls Wilder Family Fun Celebration
commerating the 50th anniversary of the Laura Ingalls Wilder Memorial
Society.
First School Restoration Dedication
Make plans to be at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Memorial Society Friday,
June 29th to attend the dedication of the school as we work towards its
final restoration.
Opening of the New Exhibits
For the first time visitors will be able to view the upstairs of the
Surveyors’ House, and in The Ingalls House a new display
“What’s For Supper?” located in the original kitchen
of the house that Pa built. June 29th.
Covered Wagon Supper
As
our celebration continues, be our guest Saturday, July 21st from 5-7
p.m. The public is invited to a free covered wagon supper on the
Society grounds.
Preservation Class
In September attend a class on how to preserve your families heirlooms properly. Date in September to be announced.
De Smet History Presentation
Catch
up on the history of De Smet in this presentation complete with photos
and newspaper clippings from years past. Date in October to be
announced.
