Since 1957, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Memorial Society has dedicated itself to the preservation of the Ingalls-Wilder sites in De Smet, South Dakota. We are a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization which relies on businesses and individuals to help us provide interactive and educational opportunities to children and families to learn, explore, and discover the world of Laura Ingalls Wilder and pioneer life.
