The Laura Ingalls Wilder Memorial Society is located in the heart of De Smet, South Dakota, Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little Town on the Prairie".  

We are open year round and offer tours of two original Ingalls family homes filled with items that belonged to Laura and her family and school tours.  There are 16 other sites in De Smet that Laura mentioned in her books that visitors may see. Many travelers enjoy visiting us every year.
